Darby’s Woven and Welded Wire Mesh is generally available from stock in 36”, 48” and 60” wide. Seaming

Seaming

Often times, industrial users have a particularly unique application that can not be handled by the standards of the Wire Mesh industry. Edward J. Darby & Son, Inc. has catered to these users for over 100 years. For instance, Darby routinely seams Woven Wire Mesh. Darby boasts the capabilities to splice, or seam, two pieces of mesh to create one large piece, oftentimes an oversized disc or cut-to-size piece.

Flattening

Flattening

Most Woven Wire Mesh is available in roll form—rolls that measure 100 FT in length. Because of the method in which Mesh is woven and stored, there are times when Mesh, especially Coarse Woven Wire Mesh, retains its cast and memory. For these instances, Edward J. Darby & Son, Inc. offers a flattening service for cut-to-size pieces. With special, in-house machinery, we are able to flatten and ship almost any material. Keep in mind that the length of any flattened piece is limited by packaging and shipping constraints.
