T-304 stainless steel is the most widely available of all stainless steels in the wire mesh industry. Aside from the countless combinations of mesh opening sizes and diameter wire available both from stock and through manufacturing, T-304 SS exhibits many benefits and is largely considered the standard of the industry. T-304 SS has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments and is used in a wide range of applications.
The specifications featured here range in opening size from approximately 1/64" to 1/750" and represent some of the finest wire cloth items presently available in the industry. These fine and ultra-fine wire mesh specifications have a cloth-like characteristic to them, but they also have the same durability and corrosion resistance found in the coarser stainless steel wire meshes.
Often times, these specifications are reserved for high performance use in industries, like aerospace, science research and special technologies. These items, especially the more common standard or market grades, are available from stock in full 100 ft rolls. These rolls can be cut down to size, particularly if the mesh is assembled as a fabricated part.
Non-industrial users also find some of these specifications suitable for various decorative and artistic applications.
